Having met at university Alex cliff and Steven Gray set up their own cleaning and paint contracting businesses which led to the establishment of Plum Developments in 1999.

The initial focus was on top end, innovative residential conversions. When it appeared that the margins were being squeezed in this area, the focus changed to retail, industrial and office developments.

Our niche has become the purchase of exisiting buildings, often listed, in any condition, where others see little prospect. Sympathetic and considered development giving the building a new lease of life and often a new use.

With our relatively conservative approach over the past years, our capability to tackle projects of up to £25m and our experience in all sectors of the market Plum is well positioned for rapid growth in the coming years.

Steve is currently living in South Africa hunting down opportunities throughout sub Saharan Africa where we believe the possibilities are both profitable and plentiful.

We are always looking for exciting or challenging opportunities.
